Campaign Continues

Work on the promotional campaign for Born to Boogie continues apace. New developments include:

Exclusive Born to Boogie Screening
As part of the Mojo Film Festival, 28/29 May 2005, Born to Boogie – complete with its newly restored images and stereo surroundsound – will be screened at the Vue Cinema in Leicester Square, central London. This is the first cinema screening of the film for almost eight years.

Theatrical Release – T.Rex Live at Wembley
Also planned for April and May is a limited cinema release of a special edit of the full evening Wembley concert, complete with scenes of the audience arriving and the build-up to the concert, and soundbites afterwards. The locations of the cinemas in which this will be screened will be confirmed in the coming weeks. If you and your friends would like to view the film, please contact us at info@borntoboogieproductions.ltd.uk with details of the nearest major UK city to which you might travel to view it. This will help in the planning of the screenings. They will be a unique opportunity to hear and see T.Rex recorded live.

Worldwide Release
Born to Boogie – the DVD – will be released in the UK, mainland Europe, Japan and North America; a distribution deal in Australia is also under discussion. In the UK the retail price will be £19.99. It will be available in the relevant format for each country so it will be compatible with domestic DVD players. If you can afford a 5.1 set-up then this would be a good time to make an investment, as the audio experience is spectacular.

Another update will be posted soon.
Thanks for your support of Born to Boogie.
